Jerry Thomas Haynes

JJerry Thomas Haynes, 70, of Madison, Va. passed away on December 31, 2024 at UVA Hospital. He was born on January 30, 1954 to the late Thomas William Haynes and Vina Virginia Dyer Haynes. He was also preceded in death by his son, Christopher Haynes; brother, William Elmer Haynes; and sister, Virginia Belle Gordon.

He is survived by his wife, Juanita Whorton Haynes; sons, Jerry Thomas Haynes, Jr. and wife Madelynn, Andrew Mark Haynes and wife Melody, and Justin Travis Haynes, all of Madison; sister, Susan Dodson of Culpeper; grandchildren, Hailey Jenkins, Shaelyn Haynes, Delilah Lewis, Ethan Haynes, and Natalie Timmons.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday, January 10, 2025 at Preddy Funeral Home in Madison with Pastor Josh Shifflett officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends one hour before the service from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
