Jerry Baker

Jerry Baker, age 58, of Mineral, Virginia, passed away on July 12, 2024, at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.

Born on December 29, 1965, in Grundy, Virginia, he was the son of Dell Baker and Mae Hagerman Baker.

Jerry is survived by his Ole Lady, Barbara Taylor; daughters, Shelby Groome, May Paonessa, and June Rebecca Baker; sons, Billy Taylor, Timothy Taylor, and Benny Taylor Jr.; brothers, Junior Baker, James Baker, Gary Stacy, and Jessie Baker; sisters, Emily Baker and Cynthia Blankenship; step-mother, Cora Baker; grandchildren, Ezra Lester, Kasha Lester, Samantha Dodson, Samuel Groome, Zachariah Groome, Zoe Paonessa, Madeline Paonessa, Cameran Landry, Jonathan Landry, Mila Landry; and great-grandchildren, Diliylia Granger, Bentley Granger, Freya Smith, Liliana Lester.

A graveside service will be held at 1p.m. on Friday, July 19, 2024, at Roosevelt Hagerman Cemetery in Jolo, WV.
