Jean Stevenson King

Jean Stevenson King, 86, of Knighting Road, Gordonsville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday November 28, 2023 in Charlottesville. Jean was born on April 24, 1937 in Orange County, Va. and was the daughter of the late Albert Stevenson and Mildred Taylor Stevenson Gill. Jean is also predeceased by two sons Daniel Scott Knighton and Lewis Wayne Knighton; a brother Hugh A. Stevenson; and two sisters Muriel Stevenson Vogt and Lisa Rollins.

Jean is survived by a brother Ronald P. Stevenson and wife Delores of Conway, S.C. and her wonderful friends who were always there for her. In honor of Jean's request there will be no memorial funeral service, and donations may be made to the Salvation Army. The family wishes to thank Hospice of the Piedmont for their wonderful care of Jean. Preddy Funeral Home of Orange is assisting the family.
