Janice Corbin Crockett, 85, of Caroline Street, Orange died on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at the Dogwood Village of Orange. Janice was born on March 7, 1937 in Charlottesville and was the daughter of the late Jesse E. Corbin and Sadie Jones Corbin Lancaster. Janice is also predeceased by her husband Wiley Ray Crockett. Janice retired as the assistant to the Orange County Administrator and was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church.

Janice is survived by a daughter Lisa Crockett Carter and husband Paul of Shipman; a son Holly Ray Crockett and wife Tracey of Toano; six grandchildren Tyler Crockett, Sarah C. McCormick, Drew Crockett, Carly C. Roberts, Brett Carter, and Jesse Carter; and seven great grandchildren.

A memorial funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2022. at 2:00 P.M. at the Trinity United Methodist Church, Pastor Josh Munnikhuysen will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 143 W. Main Street, Orange, VA. 22960 Preddy Funeral Home of Orange is assisting the family.
