James William Washington, affectionately known as ‘Jimmy’ of Madison County, Virginia, passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at his home.
Jimmy was born on April 29, 1959 and he was the son of James Major Washington (deceased) and Christine Alice Washington.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Pamela Washington, his children, Shawnte McQueen (Brent) and Janelle Washington; and his sibling, Brenda Williams (Grayland). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Symone McQueen, Kajori Washington, Lee McQueen Jr., Nathan McQueen and Kaiden Washington.
A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Preddy Funeral Home in Madison, Virginia.
The family will receive friends and family before the service from 11:30 am to 12 pm at the funeral home.
