James Perry Caldwell Jr.

In loving memory of James Perry Caldwell Jr. 70, of Fredericksburg, was called home to be with the Lord on January 12, 2024. He was born on December 15, 1953 in Newport, RI to the late James Caldwell Sr. and Betty Lou Caldwell. He was also preceded in death by a son Jermaine Allen Miles.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife of 45 years, Florence Miles; a daughter Alexis Miles; a son James Miles both of Fredericksburg; four brothers Jeffery Caldwell of Bristol, RI, Terrance Caldwell of Triverton, RI, Dainard Caldwell of Anchorage Alaska, and Lance Caldwell of Newport, RI; two sisters Bettina Strouble of Chesapeake, Va. and Renee' Caldwell of Newport, RI.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 26, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at the Preddy Funeral Chapel, Orange with interment to be held at Westview Cemetery, Orange. Mr. Terrence Caldwell will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service.
