Hilda Ross Chiles

Hilda Ross Chiles, 94 of Louisa, died Friday October 7, 2022 at her residence. Born May 2, 1928 in Gordonsville, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Wilmore Ross, Sr. and Gladys Elva Michie Ross. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Emmett Chiles and her sister, Ann Ross Via. Mrs. Chiles was a longtime active member of Louisa United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Chiles is survived by her daughter, Teresa C. Cross and husband Michael of Henrico, her brother, Thomas Wilmore Ross, Jr. and wife Mary Frances of Culpeper, grandchildren, Matthew A. Cross and wife Emily of Mechanicsville, Suzanne C. Dunn and husband Michael of Christiansburg, great-grandchildren, Samuel Dunn, Lucas Dunn, Peter Dunn, Eleri Cross and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday October 12, 2022 at Louisa United Methodist Church with Pastor David Palmer officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
