Harry William Chapman, 85 of Ruckersville, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023 at his home. He was born on April 5, 1938 to the late Gerald Adrian Chapman and Eleanor M. Barrickman Chapman. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Kathleen Rose Jackman; grandchild, Josh Roy.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Ann Bradshaw Chapman; daughter, Sonya Marie Perry and husband Timothy of Hurricane, WVA and a son, Timothy "T.C." Chapman and wife Janice "Jay" of Palmyra, Va.; son-in-law, Eric Jackman of Gordonsville, Va; brothers, Keith Chapman and Michael Chapman, both of Ohio; sister, Patricia Burke of Ca; grandchildren, Bryana LaLiberty and Caleb William Chapman; and great-grandchildren, Gage & Gavin Roy, Evelyn and Adrian Steinke.

The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice of the Piedmont, Medi Hospice and Dr. Brooke Bostic for their loving care and support.

A celebration of life will be private at a later date.
