Harold Harvey Richards

Harold Harvey Richards, 63 of Syria, Va. passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2026 at his home. He was born on July 26, 1962 to the late Harold Hobert Richards and Lottie Virginia Woodward Richards. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Rita Lockwood Richards; brother, Michael Warren Richards; sister, Eleanor Richards Jenkins.
Harold was a jack of all trades, he was a stonemason, mechanic, most anything you needed, he could do. He loved gardening, hunting with his dogs, fishing and hunting for merkels. He will be missed by many folks.
He is survived by his son, Harvey Gordon Richards and daughter-in-law, Ashley ; brother, Robert Richards; sister, Laurie Richards; and granddaughter, Lilee Richards.
A graveside funeral will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, January 23, 2026 at Criglersville Cemetery with Pastor Dan Yowell officiating.
