Harold Lloyd Carpenter, 87 of Brightwood, Va., passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at UVA Culpeper Hospital. He was born on September 19, 1936 to the late Jack Keith Carpenter and Ruby Fishback Carpenter. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Powell Carpenter.
He is survived by his son, Harold Lloyd Carpenter, Jr. of Brightwood, Va.; grandchildren, Christopher Carpenter, Dakota Carpenter, Caitlin Carpenter, Carlee Carpenter, and Cassie Carpenter.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Madison with Bob Slaven officiating. Interment will be in Madison Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour before the service, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the funeral home.
