Glenna Ann Wood Shifflett

Glenna Ann Wood Shifflett, 84 of Stanardsville, Va. passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025 at her home. She was born on September 24, 1940 to the late James Edward Wood and Nellie Gray Shifflett Wood. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Frances Staton and Jean O'Brien.

She is survived by her husband, Franklin L. Shifflett; daughter, Shari L. Collier and husband Mike; sisters-in-law, Kathleen Collier, Joyce Estes, and Wanda Hedges and husband Kevin; nephews, Jeff Staton, Scott Morris, Scott Collier, Brandon Collier, Kevin Estes, Darryl Estes, Dwayne Courtney, Shannon Courtney, Jon Courtney; nieces, Kim Staton and Dana Jones, Wendy Brown, Cassie Shifflett, Megan Roach; grandchildren, Christopher Conner and Tara Simmons; great-grandchild, Silas Houser.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, January 27, 2025 at Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Madison with Pastor Steve Netherly officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service, from 11:00 to 12:00 noon at the funeral home.
