George Washington Harrison Iii

George Washington Harrison III, age 76, died on April 11, 2024 at his home surrounded by family.

Born on February 5, 1948, he was the son of the late George Washington Harrison Sr. and Gertrude Ross. In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his wife, Sherry Lou Harrison.

George loved to be surrounded by family and enjoyed golfing.

George is survived by his children, daughter Terrie R. Sharpe (Daniel), of Morganton, NC; his sons, Roger Harrison (Karla), of Louisa, VA, Ronnie Harrison of Louisa, VA, and Rammie Harrison (Crystal) of Goochland, VA; 15 grandkids, and 19 great-grandkids.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at the Manor House at Shenandoah Crossing, 160 Horseshoe Cir, Gordonsville, VA 22942.
