George Wilson Aylor

George W. Aylor, of Madison Va. died at home on October 27th, 2025. He was born April 23rd, 1931 at Madison Mills, Va. to the late Benjamin and Helen Aylor. Mr. Aylor was a Air-Force veteran of the Korean War, a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Engineering and a member of the Thomas Jefferson Society of Alumni. He was a retired Design engineering manager with the DuPont Company. He was a member of Madison Unity Methodist Church in Madison, Va. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Beverly Aylor of Madison, a son, Glen Aylor and wife Laurie Aylor of Vinton Va., a daughter, Audrey Aylor of Denver, Co.; three grandchildren, Timothy Aylor, Rebecca Aylor and Zachary Aylor.; sister Ruth Lillard and husband Randall of Graves Mill, Va. And Kenneth McGhee brother in-law. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Silas Aylor and Paul Aylor and two sisters, Virginia McGhee and Leah Kitchen. Graveside funeral service will be held on November 1st, 2025 at Oak Grove Fellowship Church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Oak Grove Fellowship Church, 1572 Aylor Road, Madison, Va. 22727.
