Freida Nichols Bennett, 83, of Lindsay Drive, Orange died on Friday, April 28, 2023, at the Dogwood Village of Orange. She was born on December 25, 1939, in Charlottesville and was the daughter of the late Samuel B. Nichols and Irene Tusing Nichols. She was retired from Lacy's Florist in Orange and was a member of the Mt. Nebo Lutheran Church in Rochelle.
She is survived by her husband Thomas D. Bennett of Orange and a sister Pansy N. Walton of Orange, and is predeceased by a brother Ralph A. Nichols.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. graveside at the Mt. Nebo Lutheran Church in Rochelle. Preddy Funeral Home of Orange is assisting the family.
