Frederick Douglas Williams, 77, of Somerset, VA went to be with the Lord Saturday August 6, 2022, in the Martha Jefferson Hospital. He was born May 26, 1945, in Morristown, NJ to the late Fred Nick Williams and Carolyn Adonia Smith Williams.

Mr. Williams was a member of Blue Run Baptist Church and was employed by Webster Brick in Somerset for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa Maggie Williams; daughters, Theresa W. Carter and husband Donald of Orange, VA, Bridget Y. Monroe and husband Michael of Fort Washington, MD and Frederica W. Mercado and husband Jorge of Triangle, VA; sons, Frederick D. Williams III of Corona, CA and Richard E. Williams of Orange, VA; brother, Richard J. Williams and wife Karen of Stony Point, VA; sister, Rev. Ann S. Lawrence and husband Charles of Gordonsville, VA; 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

A graveside funeral service will be held 11:00 am Friday, August 19, 2022, at Blue Run Baptist Church Cemetery in Barboursville conducted by Rev. Ann S. Lawrence and Rev. Robert Anthony.
