Florence Alva Webster

Florence Alva Webster, 95, of Orange, Virginia formerly of New York died on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at Greene Acres in Stanardsville, Virginia. Florence was born in Newaygo, Michigan and moved to New York at the age of 10. A graduate of Cherry Valley class of 1949, After graduating she worked in the glove factory, She moved to Orange, Virginia in 2019.

She is survived by children Terry Webster, Steve Webster (Linda), Ella Mabie (Jerry), Dale Webster, Brian Webster (Stacy); seventeen grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; brothers Robert Prill (Jane), Larry Prill (Nancy), Matt Prill (Bobbie); sisters-in-law Beatrice Prill, Joan Prill, Gladys Prill; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her husband Edward Webster; a daughter Anita Lundy; a granddaughter Melanie Sorrell; her parents Fred Prill and Alva Roe Prill; three brothers Willis Prill, Russell Prill, and Ronnie Prill; and a sister Joann Loucks and her husband Robert.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Society of your choice.

Burial will be in the Springfield Center Cemetery, Otsego County, New York in the spring.
