Eunice Lohr of Orange, VA, passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Green Acres Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in Stanardsville, VA. She was born on June 13, 1927, to the late David Wilson Lohr and Bessie Gold Marsh Lohr.
She was preceded in death by all her siblings, her brothers James (Boy) Lohr and Vivian (Buddy) Lohr, her sisters Evie Reddish, Edna Lohr, Myrtle (Sis) Davis, Grace Smith and Violet Fowlkes.
Her sons, David Hamilton Davis, Dennis Dale Davis, and Phillip Craig Davis also preceded her in death.
A son Thomas W. Davis, and a daughter, Diane Strong survive her. Other survivors include her grandchildren, Susan and Karen Strong, and Chris and Thomas Davis, nine great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
While she was able, Eunice's greatest joys in life were the simplest pleasures, such as crocheting, working in her yard with her flowers, and helping others by being a caregiver as needed. She lived her life her way and on her terms.
Eunice was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church, Radiant, VA. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, 2930 Beautiful Run Road, Radiant, VA, 22732.
