Elizabeth "Pidgie" Moon Lohr

Elizabeth "Pidgie" Moon Lohr, 72, of Monrovia Road, Orange died on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at the Green Acres Nursing Home in Stanardsville. Pidgie was born on February 23, 1952 in Charlottesville and was the daughter of the late Theophilus Walter Moon and Hattie Priscilla Roach Moon. Pidgie is also predeceased by her husband Jesse Cleveland Lohr Sr.; and a brother Roger Moon.

Pidgie is survived by two sons Jesse C. Lohr Jr. and wife Kristin of Orange, and Stephen Lohr and wife April of Orange; four grandchildren Shane, Jordyn, Brayden, and Brystol; one sister Anna Stanley and husband John of Lake Monticello; and one brother Walter Moon and wife Robin of Gordonsville.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 4, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at the Preddy Funeral Chapel, Orange with interment in the Graham Cemetery. Rev. Timmy Jarrell will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 3, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. EST at the Preddy Funeral Home, 250 West Main Street, Orange, Va. 22960.
