Eddie Franklin Haney

Eddie Franklin Haney, 77, of Barboursville died Friday, January 5, 2024, at Martha Jefferson Hospital.  Born July 19, 1947 in Charlottesville, he was the son of the late Raymond Thomas Haney and Lillian Gertrude Herrion Haney.  Eddie worked as a painter in the local area for many years.

He is survived by his son, Daniel Thomas Haney and wife Destiny of Barboursville; one brother, Larry Haney and wife Donna of Somerset; three sisters, Shirley Gallihugh of Gordonsville, Phyllis Taylor and husband Brownie of Barboursville, Marrion Lohr and husband Ed of Spotsylvania; grandson, Braylen Thomas Haney; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Preddy Funeral Home in Gordonsville with interment to follow at Union Grove Christian Church Cemetery in Eheart.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
