Earl "Bud" William Hindes, 68 of Stanardsville, Va. passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023 at UVA Hospital. He was born on January 29, 1955 in Pittsburgh, Pa.

He was a retired plumber/pipe fitter at UVA School.

He is survived by his parents, Charles Hindes and Jean Hyslip Hindes of N.C.; wife, Janet Snow Hindes of Stanardsville; daughter, Lisa Hindes of Ma.; step-daughter, Julie Mitchelson and husband Wister, and their children, Riley and Sophia of Stanardsville; son, Billy Hindes of Ma.; brother, Chuck Hindes and wife Carol of Tx; sisters, Linda Bennett and husband Tom of N. C., and Laurie Trammel and husband Keith of Ga.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, March 20, 2023, at Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Madison with Pastor Josh Shifflett officiating.   The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 11:00 am Monday at the funeral home.
