Douglas Montague Harris, 71 of Gordonsville, went to be with his Lord on Monday November 1, 2021 at the Martha Jefferson Hospital. Born October 24, 1950, he was the son of the late Luther "Buck" Harris and Barbara "Bobbie" Harris. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Ollie "Spanky" Harris and a sister, Gale "Poochie Graves. Doug worked as an auto mechanic for many years and he attended Mechanicsville Baptist Church in Gordonsville.

He is survived by his girlfriend, Tonya Rose, four sons, Jason Harris (Sherry), Chris Smith (Jennifer), Scott Harris (Melissa), Devyn Rose, siblings, Diane Durham (David), Connie "Netsy" Mawyer (David), James "Jamie" Harris (Becky), grandchildren, Katherine Conner (Chuck), Tiffany Harris, J.D. Harris, Tesa Smith, Brady Harris, five great-grandchildren, a special best friend, Sandy Harris and host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday November 8, 2021 at Charlottesville First Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Julie Harris officiating.
