Dorothy Mae Lloyd

Dorothy Mae Lloyd, 98, of Orange, died on Monday, January 19, 2026, at the Dogwood Village of Orange. She was born on January 24, 1927, in Madison County and was the daughter of the late Perry Utz and Lucy Sparks Utz. She is also predeceased by her husband, Clinton R. Lloyd; step-sons, Harold Lloyd and Roger Lloyd; and step-daughter, Betty.

She is survived by a daughter, Mary A. Johnson Shipp of Barboursville; two grandchildren, Carroll “Chuck” (Audra) L. Shipp III of Barboursville, and Stacey (Keith) Allison Martin of Chesterfield; and two great-grandchildren, Caroline Martin and Joshua Martin.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Preddy Funeral Chapel in Orange, and interment will follow at Graham Cemetery.
