Doris Kathryn Crist Barnes, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at UVA Culpeper Hospital. She was born on November 21, 1949 to the late Early Hansford Crist and Margaret Pearl Newcomer Crist.
She is survived by her husband, Lonnie Monroe Barnes, Sr.; daughter, Jenny Lynn Edwards and husband Wayne; son Lonnie Monroe Barnes, Jr. and wife Pamela; sisters, Elaine John, Ethel Davis, and Louise Mabry; grandchildren, Christopher Baldwin, Samatha Baldwin, Emily Barnes, Bryan Barnes; great-grandchildren, Aiden Bailey, Leeland Bailey, and Lylah Bailey.
A visitation will be held from 12:00 to 2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Preddy Funeral Home in Madison, Va.
