Doris Glascock Cobb

Doris Glascock Cobb, 94 of Aroda, Va. passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at Sentra Martha Jefferson Hospital. She was born on September 8, 1930 to the late Samuel Glascock and Maude Wince Glascock. She was also preceded in death by her son, Robert L. Glascok; brothers, Everett F. Glascock, Thomas L. Glascock; sisters, Helen Glascock, Mattie Collins, Madeline Glascock, Bessie Glascock, Lou May Glasock; and former husband, Joe Cobb.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary J. Mullins and husband Quintin; brother, William B. Glascock; daughter-in-law, Linda Glascock; thirteen grandchildren; and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Madison with Pastor Jeff Shifflett officiating. Interment will be in Marshall Cemetery in Marshall, Va. The family will receive friends one hour before the service, from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the funeral home.
