David Hasbury-Snogles

David Hasbury-Snogles, 69, 0f Rochelle, passed away peacefully at his home
on December 24, 2025 with his beloved wife Anita by his side.
David was born on December 4, 1956, in RAF Mildenhall, England to the late
John and Sylvia Howell. Following university, David’s career included years of
working on floor of the London Stock Exchange and in IT project
management. He retired in 2024.
In 2002, David married his beloved wife, Anita Hanney. They shared a love of
horses and in 2007 traveled to the United States with the goal of riding their
horses in all fifty United States. They fell in love with the Virginia countryside
and immigrated to the United States at the end of their trip, settling in
Orange, Virginia. They became United States citizens in 2018.
In addition to his wife Anita, David is survived by three stepsons Tom Snogles
of Jacksonville, Florida, Simon Snogles (Rachel) of Ruckersville, Virginia, and
Oliver Snogles of Denver, Colorado, grandsons Henry and Theodore, his
daughter Hazel Connelly of Ireland, and four grandchildren, his border collie
Nell and many friends.
David was preceded in death by his parents.
David will be remembered for his love for Anita, his caring heart, his life-long
support of Manchester City Football Club, and appreciation for fine wine.
A memorial service and scattering of ashes will be held in the spring 0f 2026.
He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
