Daniel Wayne Richards

Daniel Wayne Richards, 82 of Pratts, Va. passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025 at his home. He was born on January 5, 1943 to the late Moody Daniel Richards and Maude Virginia Dyer Richards.

Wayne was raised in Madison County and graduated from Madison County High School. He was a deacon and a member of Beth Car Baptist Church and worked for VDOT over 32 years.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Kay Judd Richards; son Barry Keith Richards; beloved grandchildren, Cory Daniel Richards and Andrew Tyler Richards.

A funeral will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Preddy Funeral Home in Madison with interment in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Madison. Pastor Tim Duggins and Rev. John Huelskoetter will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour before the service, from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
