Cynthia May Cundiff, 72, of Madison passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2025, in

Charlottesville, VA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard Newton Haynes and Annie Maude

Woodward Haynes; her husband Mario Cundiff and her brother-in-law, James Hockman, Jr.

She is survived by three daughters, Faith Spence(Nathan), Heather Navalaney and Jillian

Westerfield(Roy); two sons, Charles Settle and Chris Settle; two sisters, Rebecca Haynes

Hockman and Stephanie A. Haynes(John); 11 Grandchildren Benjamin Tooley(Baleigh),

Chelsey Settle, Raven Settle, Brooke Settle, Bryson Heflin, Will Dwyer(Brooke) Brittany

Gayhart(Matthew) Rebekah Navalaney, Grace Donald, Jackson Westerfield and Maddie

Westerfield; 6 Great Grandchildren Jack Tooley, Myles Settle, Easton Dwyer, Hudson Dwyer,

Hensley Dwyer, and Dexter Gayhart; and 1 nephew, Jacob Hockman.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
