Cornelious "Neil" Edward Carter, of Troy, Virginia was born on July 17,1945

and passed into eternal peace on Tuesday, February 15, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Phillip Carter, Sr. and

Viola Carter. His sisters Joanne Creasy, Geraldine Jackson and Violetta Carter.

Brothers Henry Joseph Carter, Sr., Theodore Carter, James Carter, Phillip Carter, Jr. and Michael Carter.

He leaves to cherish his memories, Two brothers, Clifford Carter (Julia) of Palmyra and

Stanley Carter of Troy. Four sisters, Helen Brown of Cleveland, Ohio, Barbara Pendleton of Keswick,

Teresa Carter (Odell) of Louisa, Abigail Martin (Orlando) of Troy, two aunts Ruth Wells of Troy and

Jamie Mills of Charlottesville and a host of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday February 20, 2022 at Springfield Baptist Church Cemetery in Zion Crossroads.

Preddy Funeral Home of Gordonsville is handling arrangements.
