Colonel Preston Long Jr., 66 of Orange passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021 in Charlottesville, Va. He was an U.S. Army veteran and was born in Washington DC. He was preceded in death by his parents, Colonel Preston Long Sr, and Alberta Lennon Long, a son, Christopher Long, and a brother, Steve Lennon.

Colonel leaves to mourn his beloved Mary, daughters, Gemila Davis, Danielle Johnson, Katrice Webster, Aria Ham, Brittany Long, Latisha Campbell, a son, Colonel P. Long III a sister, Patricia Pulley, his niece Ashley and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021 at 11:00 AM from the Preddy Funeral Home in Orange with burial to follow in Graham Cemetery. Rev. Frank Lewis will officiate. The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM on Friday December 3, 2021.
