Clifton "Butch" Lewis Strother Jr. was born January 15,1944 and he passed away peacefully in his sleep to join the Lord September 1, 2022. Clifton was born in Fredericksburg, Virginia to the late Annie Pearl and Clifton Strother. Clifton Lewis Strother Jr. was preceded in death by his wife Helen and his brother Milton Strother.

He leaves behind 3 beautiful children, Clifton (Nina) Strother, III, Sonya (Dennis) Radford and John Strother. Clifton Lewis Strother Jr. also leaves behind 15 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

He is survived by 7 siblings: Elizabeth Seigler, Nila (Charles) Trigger, Shilda (Gary) Ray, Mamie Henry, Billy Matthews, Carter Strother and Carroll (Laura) Strother; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Many thanks and love to Jackie Butcher his niece who had taken care of her Uncle Butch's needs during his last years.

A graveside service will take place at Quantico National Cemetery on Friday, September 30th at 2 PM.  The address for             the cemetery is 18424 Joplin Rd, Triangle, VA 22172.
