Clarence Wayne Brookman, Sr.

Clarence Wayne Brookman, Sr. 74 of Gordonsville, died Saturday November 18, 2023 at Martha Jefferson Hospital.

Born April 7, 1949, he was the son of the late Clarence Brookman and Ruby Price Birkhead. Mr. Brookman served in the U.S. Army and he was a retired heavy equipment operator.

He is survived by his wife, Juanita Bellomy Brookman of Gordonsville; one daughter, Tammy Estelle Timberlake of Colorado; two sons, Clarence "Butch" Brookman and wife Rosa of Ruckersville, and Benjamin Brookman of Gordonsville; one brother, Raymond Brookman of Orange; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at Culpeper National Cemetery. Bob Slaven will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at Preddy Funeral Home in Gordonsville.
