Christopher Wade Deane, 62 of Stanardsville, Va. passed away on June 14, 2023 at his home. He was born on September 7, 1960 to the late Alvin Harris Deane and Mary Elizabeth Dunnivan Deane. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Curtis Lee Deane and his father-in-law, Albert Graper Collier.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa Ann Collier Deane; daughter, Carrie Elizabeth Jackson and husband Clay; brothers, Alvin Harris Deane, Jr. and wife Nancy, Benjamin Wilmer Deane, Gary Wayne Deane and wife Tracy; sisters, Barbara Ann Shifflett and husband Steve, Emily Pace and husband Bill, and Clara Parrott; mother-in-law, Allie Lee Collier; brother-in-law, Wendell Dale Collier and wife Debbie Sue; 10 nieces and 2 nephews; and many cousins, family, and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Holly Memorial Gardens in Charlottesville, Va. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, June 16, 2023 at Preddy Funeral Home in Madison, Va.
