Christine Chandler Gilbert

Christine Chandler Gilbert, 72 of Madison, Va. passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Center for Acute Care in Charlottesville, Va. She was born on July 11, 1950 to the late Horace Riley Chandler and Laura Anna Church Chandler. She was also preceded in death by Gary Lee Paff Gilbert.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Kay Maples of Eastern Shore, Va.; son, Michael Riley Danuser and wife Tiffany Danuser of Hood, Va.; brothers, Farrel L. Chandler and Carroll E. Chandler and wife Susan, all of Jonesport, Me.; sisters, Christiana Chandler Dean and husband Donald of Pine Hurst, N.C. and Diana Chandler Sawtelle and husband Toby of Jonesport, Me.; grandchildren, Mathew Maples, Hailey Danuser, Emily Dansuer, and Brody Danuser.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
