Charles Embrey (Bootsie) Ford, age 85, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, January 29, 2022.

He is survived by his wife of over 65 years, Martha Ellen Lohr Ford; daughter, Lisa Ford Jones, and son-in-law, Everette (Don) Jones; son, Timothy William Ford and daughter-in-law, Jamesa Utz (Macy) Ford; grandson, Robert Harrison (Rob) Ford and grandson Jameson Neil (Jay) Ford.

He was employed at E. A. Clore Sons, Madison, Va. for over 50 years where he never tired of the "meet and greet" with the customers who came from all over the country to look at/buy furniture. He just enjoyed people.

Due to the circumstances surrounding the Covid pandemic, a private family graveside service was held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Radiant, Va. with Pastor Jeff Tucker officiating.
