Carolyn Jo Lawson Stotler

Carolyn Jo Lawson Stotler, 64, of Unionville, VA passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Mary Washington Hospital. She was born on February 18, 1958 in Orange, VA to the late Joseph and Mamie Lawson.

She is survived by her daughter, Melody Stotler Smith (Brian) of Mineral; grandson, Zachary Smith of Mineral; brothers, George Lawson (Faye) of Charlottesville, and Bill Lawson (Peggy) of Barboursville; sisters, Patsy Jacobs of Ruckersville, Cris Rose of Barboursville, Sandra Watson of Orange, and Diane Wolfrey of Charlottesville; her longtime friend and fiancé, Donald Ray Yount; stepdaughter, Amy Rae Yount; and her fur companion, Jake.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her three brothers, Malcom Lawson, Ronnie Lawson, and Charles Lawson.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Preddy Funeral Home, 250 West Main St., Orange, VA 22960.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Preddy Funeral Home, with Pastor Terry Jewell officiating.

Interment will follow at Graham Cemetery.
