Beverly Lee Ladd

Beverly "Cocky" Lee Ladd 86 of Troy, Virginia passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at his home surrounded by his family. He was the son of the late Joseph Alfred Ladd and Magnolia Chandler Ladd .
Cocky was a dedicated farm manager of Keswick Stables for many years, a true horseman.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 year, Lois Virginia Sandridge Ladd; daughters, Ginny Garver (Ricky) Cindy Sampson (Charlie), Laurie Lawhorne; son, Jay Ladd (Sandra); grandchildren, Samantha Shifflett (Ricky), Brandon Ladd (Katie), Chase Ladd, Bailey Lawhorne (Noah); great-grandchildren, Avery Ladd, Tyson Shifflett, Greyson Ladd, Liam Ladd, Noah Gallegos Jr. ;and three surviving sisters.
Preddy Funeral Home in Gordonsville will be assisting the family with a private interment.
