Bev Gray Lumsden

Bev Lumsden, 70, of Mineral VA, died on Friday, October 21, 2022.  Born in Orange VA, Bev was the son of the late Roy and Alice Lumsden.

Bev was kind, independent and loved freedom. He lived life on his own terms. He loved being outside and he especially enjoyed fishing trips to the Outer Banks.  He made a career at American Press in Gordonsville, VA thanks to exceptional mechanical abilities which enabled him to quickly assess problems and design needed changes.  His quick wit also lifted spirits with well timed jokes.

Bev is survived by his "best achievement," his daughter, Melissa Via, her husband Linwood, and grandson, Brandon Via. He is also survived by a brother, Stuart (Kris) Lumsden, and a sister, Joyce (Michael) Bosworth
