Betty Quann Walker

Betty Quann Walker, 83 of Gordonsville went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 31, 2021. Born February 23, 1938 in Orange County, she was the daughter of the late Harold Quann and Mary Katherine Utz Quann. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Stuart C. "Dick" Walker and her brother, Macon Quann. Betty was retired from Sperry in Charlottesville and she also worked for the Gordonsville Police Department as a school crossing guard. She was a member of the Gordonsville Baptist Church and the Gordonsville Volunteer Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her special nephew, Keith "Hoss" Smith, a niece, Debbie Wood and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday November 16, 2021 at Preddy Funeral Home in Gordonsville with interment to follow in Maplewood Cemetery. Pastor Wayne Collis will officiate.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
