Born on December 21, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Newton Lindsay and Mary Oliver Lindsay.
Betty was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She and her husband W. Leroy Eheart, were married for 63 years. Betty was devoted to her career as a nurse for over 40 years. She was an avid golfer, and had four hole-in-ones. She even got to golf on the last day of her life. She was a member of the Greene Hills Ladies Golf Association and loved to play with her many friends.
Betty also dedicated her time to the Barboursville Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary for over fifteen years. She loved to go to the beach, no matter where it was, and was an amazing cook.
Betty's memory lives on in her husband, Leroy Eheart; her sister, Mary N. Kirby and her husband Carrol R. Kirby; her children, Mark Q. Eheart (Susan), and Boyd N. Eheart and his wife Tina; her grandchildren, Megan N Knight (Tanner), Jake E Eheart (Dakota), and Morgan A. Eheart; and her great-grandchildren, Bennett Oliver Eheart, Anderson Emory Eheart, and Cheyanne Grace Sprouse.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Union Grove Christian Church in Ehearts Corner, Virginia, officiated by Rev. Terry Newton.
