Bettie Blue Omohundro, 85, of Gordonsville, died Sunday October 10, 2021 at the Martha Jefferson Hospital. Born June 28, 1936, she was the daughter of the late, Oscar Blue Omohundro, Sr. and Lois Michie Omohundro. Miss. Omohundro graduated from Orange County High School in 1954 and then attended Madison College. She worked for the Orange County School Board and then went on to work for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation for many years before her retirement in 1991. She was a member of the Gordonsville Baptist church for 75 years where she served as the pianist for over 20 years. She was also a lifetime member of Historic Gordonsville Incorporated.

She is survived by her brother, OB Omohundro, Jr. and wife Patricia of Gordonsville, a nephew, James P. Omohundro of Bridgeport, West Virginia and a host of friends.

She was also preceded in death by her nephew, John Kelly Omohundro.

Interment will be private at Maplewood Cemetery in Gordonsville.
