Arold "Monkey" Sherron Smith

Arold Sherron Smith, 63, of Madison, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2026. Born March 10, 1963, in Christiansburg, VA, to the late Roger Leroy Smith and Ruby Edith Kingrea Smith. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Clifford, Roger, Sammy, David, and John Smith, and his sisters, Virginia Dunivan, Joyce Stanley, and Mary Ellen Stanley; his nieces, Amanda Tillman, Norma Dubay; and nephews, Chester Dunivan, and Leonard Tinder.

He is survived by his significant other, the love of his life, Rhonda Cason; his sisters, Myra Carney and Hazel Tilley (Bob), as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

You were my best friend, whom I spent life with, and shared a special bond. You knew me so well, and the moments we shared will forever be in my heart-- memories that will never fade.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
