Annie Elizabeth Atkins, 89 of Gordonsville, died Wednesday April 27, 2022 at her residence. Born February 24, 1933 in Albemarle County, she was the daughter of the late Luther Oren Baber and Reva May Moyer Baber. She is also preceded in death by her husband John Pershing Atkins. Annie was a lifetime member of Gordonsville Pentecostal Holiness Church.

She is survived by five daughters, Margaret Robbins of Gordonsville, Pat Battle of Charlottesville, Paula Hutchinson and husband Allen of Gordonsville, Tonya Watkins of Fayetteville, NC, Vikki Sims of Fayetteville, NC, one son, Jimmy Atkins and wife Ellen of Lake Anna, three step children, John J. Atkins and wife Jean, Danny Atkins and wife Glenda, Peggy Boisvert and husband Robert all of Gordonsville, one sister, Mazie Perdue of Roanoke and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 2, 2022 at Preddy Funeral Home in Gordonsville with interment to follow in Maplewood cemetery. Pastor Gino Bryant will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
