Alan Douglas Morgan, Sr. 68 of Ruckersville passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022 at his residence. Born April 9, 1954 in Warrenton, VA he was the son of the late William Clifton Morgan, Jr., and Elsie Lee Delf Morgan. He is also preceded in death by two brothers, William Clifton Morgan, III and Warren Elmer Morgan.

He is survived by a daughter, Christine Francis Clore, a son, Alan Morgan , Jr., seven grandchildren, Kelly Acty, Alan Morgan, III, Nathan Morgan, Jeremiah Lamb, Dylan Clore, Jesse Helmick and Victoria Helmick.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Madison conducted by Rev. Adam Meisberger with interment in Robinson River Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Brightwood. The family will receive friends one hour before the service on Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
