Agnes Farrell Dalton

Agnes Farrell Dalton, 87 of Stanardsville, Va passed away Thursday, October 17th 2024 at home. She was born on July 16th, 1937 to the late Mell Aloysius Farrell and Agnes O'Neil Farrell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Clinton Dalton M.D, brothers James Farrell, Mell Farrell Jr, Frank Farrell and Jacques Farrell. She is survived by her son Philip Edward Juliano Jr and daughter Marilee Juliano Newman, son in law Paul Henry Newman, sisters Alice Farrell and Catherine Farrell, grandchildren Maxwell Robert Newman and Farrell Christine Milstein and dearest cousins Monica Morhaim and Mary Sullivan.

Agnes was a tireless worker for children in need and worked as a foster parent for over 40 years. She spent her career in social services working on a suicide prevention hotline and later providing fuel and food assistance for families in need. In addition she volunteered in hospice and Camp Dragonfly for grieving children.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Monday October 21st at Grace Episcopal Church with the Reverend Becki Casey officiating. Interment will be at Culpeper National Cemetery on Tuesday October 22nd at 1pm. Flowers may be sent to Grace Episcopal Church Stanardsville, VA or donations made in Agnes's name to the Grace Alliance Food Bank or Grace Episcopal Church Discretionary Fund.
