She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Alvin Reid Lohr, Jr.; son, Alex Lohr (Mary Jane); daughters, Melissa Semones (Craig) and Amanda Scott (Edward); brother, Yancey W. Ford, Jr. (Peggy); grandchildren, Libby, Adam, Erin, Kevin, Travis, and Laura; great-grandchildren, Channing, Cameron, Addyson, Ashby, Ayla, Ashlyn and Claire.

The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to Jackie Fincham and Margaret Ann Ward for the loving and nurturing care they both provided Mom, so she was able to remain at home throughout her battle with ALS.

A special thanks to the Trinity Hospice care team, and care provider/special cousin, Fannie Utz, NP, for the unwavering medical support, guidance, and compassion provided during this difficult time.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Madison with Minister Doug Gouchenour officiating. Interment will be in the Rochelle Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends for fellowship and lunch in the church hall after the interment.
