Bessie G. Franck, 102 of Louisa died Monday January 17, 2022 at Louisa Health and Rehab. Born July 14, 1919 in Fluvanna County, she was the daughter of the late Rosa Rigsby. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Robert “Mike” Franck, a son, Russell Ray Harlow, a daughter, Dorothy Louise Brown and three sisters, Minnie Johnson, Carrie E. Easterling and Mae Shipp. Mrs. Frank retired from Frank Ix and Son where she worked for 34 years and she was a member of Ebenezer Church in Louisa. She loved working in her garden and caring for her plants and flowers. She also enjoyed quilting and was well known for her delicious pies that she made.
She is survived by two sons, Mason C. Harlow and wife JoAnn of New Canton, Ray S. Harlow and wife Martha of Louisa, a sister, Margaret Johnson of Troy, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery in Louisa.
Preddy Funeral Home of Gordonsville is handling arrangements.
